A.I. MIR Service Framework

At A.I. MIR we believe that an organization's long-term success is determined by its ability to create Customer Capital. We know this essential form of Capital is created through four other kinds of Capital that include: Leadership; Talent; Organization; and Brand.

 

This is why our Service Framework is designed to help our clients Innovate and grow all five of these critical assets.

The team is comprised of researchers, designers, developers, business analysts, subject matter experts, consultants, trainers, and seasoned industry leaders. 

Chairman and Chief Mentor 
AZHAR IQBAL MIR

Our firm is named after the late, Azhar Iqbal Mir. He was a true visionary and a mentor to so many. Whereas our vision keeps growing along with our services and the geographies we serve, our values remain the same and these are a direct influence of the teachings of Mr. Azhar Iqbal Mir (A.I. MIR). Managing Partner's Note: ​ When starting our consulting business, one of the easiest decisions to make was the name. I knew we had to name it after my father. He was alive then and we had the privilege that he remained our chairman and chief mentor for over a decade. His everlasting contributions to the business, our clients and to each of us have made us who we are today and will continue to guide us in the future. My father, my ideal, my mentor and our chairman is gone but his lessons live on.

AZFAR MIR

Azfar is a Strategy, Innovation and Leadership Development Consultant working with 35+ of the Global Fortune 500s. His work is focused on helping organizations identify as well as implement the most suitable strategies and develop cultures that will foster innovation. He serves as an advisor to the CEOs in matters of Strategy development, Culture Management and Innovation and to the CHROs and CLOs in the area of HR Frameworks and Leadership Development.  Azfar has trained and coached nearly half a million leaders and many have been inspired by his key note sessions across the globe. Azfar has authored our consulting methodologies as well as our learning programs. These include Strategy Methodology, Leadership Advantage Program and Leaderistiks amongst many others.  Azfar is the Managing Partner of A.I. MIR.

ATHAR IQBAL MIR
Advisor & Board Member

Athar is the practical one and helps to ground the team’s wild ideas. He was part of the HR management team at Johnson & Johnson, one of the largest healthcare companies in the world, before realizing his true calling. ​ Athar has setup and managed the HR Function at various companies from the FMCG, Insurance, Asset Management and Investment Banking sectors. ​ He leads our outsourcing business and is an Advisor and Board Member at A.I. MIR

AMIR ASLAM

Amir has worked in a diversified set of industries and roles which has enabled him to gain experience by collaborating with senior leaders on strategies and managing critical assignments at all levels. He has a proven track record of rapport-building, resourceful problem-solving and communication skills.  ​ Amir's industry experience includes pharmaceuticals, chemical, agriculture, financial institutions, hospitality, and the IT enabled service sector.  He has played a pivotal role in human resources, organization development, business development, finance, controlling, supply chain, general management, mergers, acquisition, and process re-engineering. Many of these companies are clients of A.I. MIR and therefore the association with Amir is a long standing one. He was also one of the people mentored by Azhar Iqbal Mir.  ​ Amir leads our recruitment services and serves as an advisor and consultant on HR projects.

Nilufar MASIMOVA
Partner

Nilufar has more than 10 years of extensive experience in Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition and Performance Management. Additionally, she had taught masters and MBA students  in the topics such as Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Change Management and Business Communication. As a Partner at A.I. MIR, Nilufar is responsible for an exciting upcoming HR Academy Project for A.I. MIR. She has also successfully designed and implemented different projects including  Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Succession Planning and Leadership Development initiatives.  Nilufar holds an MSc in Human Resources Management from the University of East Anglia, UK and is a certified SCP from SHRM.

MONA FAISAL
Partner

Mona has held several HR Leadership positions prior to joining our team. Some of the originations where she has led HR include Affiniti, and Engro. Her last position was Chief People Officer of Rayn Pvt. Ltd. Highly motivated and energetic HR professional with over 20+ years of professional work experience. Proven ability to lead effective teams. A comprehensive and strategic understanding of HRM, business and technical issues as well as organizational change. Able to devise and implement coherent HR strategies whilst improving internal processes and procedures within demanding environments, project deadlines and budgets. Mona brings practical and positive energy to every project with a strong work ethic, she can execute effectively. Mona has an MBA (Finance and HR)  from IBA and a Diploma in Business Management from LUMS. She is certified in the use of the Thomas and Leaderistiks systems.

ANJUM ANIS ANSARI

RAHAB AKBAR

Anjum is a Strategy, Transformation, Coaching and Leadership Development Consultant. He brings with him over four decades of a highly active operating work experience from an extremely broad portfolio of industries. He has worked closely with several national and multi-national organisations. Having started his career from the service industry (InterContinental Hotel Chain), he has worked in multi-disciplinary industries such as agricultural inputs (fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, farmer advisory services) Petro-chemicals, Infra-structure development, IT, Sugar, Textiles, Beverages, etc. Organisations he has worked for include: Owning Company of InterContinental Hotels, Exxon / Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited, Jaffer Bros., Bottlers of Pepsi Network, GulAhmed / Arwen Tech (Private) Limited. Anjum was a core team member of Engro Chemical Team which was responsible for the creation of Engro Polymer and Chemicals and Engro Vopak Terminal. While with Jaffer Brothers (Private) Limited, he successfully led in the year 2000 NADRA’s Project of digitisation of Citizen’s database for Pakistan. During initial part of his career and after one and a half year in the service sector, he spent 15 years with Exxon Chemical and was part of the organisation when employee buy-out took place. Since then he has spent 25 years working with different family owned businesses. During this period Anjum has led a few successful transformation projects and been a member of core teams leading to the formation a textile and a sugar unit.

Rahab has worked in a diverse set of functions including Finance, Legal and Customer Management. She is responsible for designing and forever improving the experience of our Leadership Development Journeys as well as supporting the execution of the Firm’s overall strategy with respect to its Leadership Practice. Rahab has a BSc (Honors) in Business and Management from University of Bradford

Fatma Zubairi
Senior Associate Consultant

With 20 years of HR experience working with some of the world's top companies across industries including Total Energies and GlaxoSmithKline, she has worked in France and Cambodia as a  game changer. She is highly adaptive and flexible in integrating fully into new culture, language and work environments. She has native proficiency in English and am full proficiency in French, she  can communicate in basic Thai and Arabic also.  Her expertise include M&A, HR turnaround, change management, process re-engineering, digitization, strategic recruitment, leadership development, capability enhancement, career  management, Total Reward management, motivation and performance, and employee well-being. She has successfully led and implemented these initiatives and more recently Diversity &  Inclusiveness across multiple sectors, including oil and energy, retail, pharmaceuticals, and consulting.  Her personal mission is to create a positive and sustainable impact on employees with a laser focus on business goals and achievements.

Lee Konczak
Senior Partner

Lee works in the capacity of SME (Subject Matter Expert) with A.I. MIR. His areas of focus include Leadership and Team development. He has been a professor of practice in the executive MBA  program at Washington University including courses in China and India. He has extensive HRD/OD experience including executive education & development, management development,  organization development, performance management and assessment and selection. Managerial experience (public and private sectors) and university teaching experience.  Before joining the Olin faculty, Lee worked at Anheuser-Busch Companies as an internal Human Resource/Organization Development consultant and manager. In his last position at A-B, Lee was  Director of Executive Development and Employee Selection Systems. Prior to Anheuser-Busch, Lee worked as an independent consultant. He also held senior management positions with the  Missouri Department of Mental Health. Lee has taught organizational behavior and human resource management previously at Washington University, Webster University and the University of  Missouri-St. Louis

David Edelman
Senior Partner

David works in the capacity of SME (Subject Matter Expert) with A.I. MIR. He is a sought-after advisor on digital transformation and marketing strategy, David developed foundational business  concepts such as “The Customer Decision Journey,” and “Segment-of-One Marketing.” Most recently, he guided Aetna (now part of CVS Health) through becoming a digitally-oriented,  customer-centric enterprise. David has been repeatedly recognized by Forbes as one of the “Most Influential CMOs in the World,” and by AdWeek as one of the “Top 20 Marketing and  Technology Executives.” His writing and work has attracted over 1.1 million followers to his LinkedIn blog, and he has delivered dozens of keynote presentations at conferences around the  world

 Matthew S. Kressy
Senior Partner

Matthew S. Kressy works in the capacity of SME (Subject Matter Expert) with A.I. MIR. Matt is the founding director of the MIT Integrated Design & Management (IDM) Master’s degree. He is an  expert in product design and development. He has designed, invented, engineered, and manufactured products for startups, Fortune 500 companies, and everything in between. Matt believes in interdisciplinary, collaborative, design-driven product development derived from deep user research, creative concept generation, and rapid prototype iteration. He is passionate  about the implementation of these elements in the design process. In fact, since 1999, Kressy has co-taught collaborative courses in product design and development at top design and business  schools including the MIT Sloan School of Management, the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), and Harvard Business School. As IDM director, Kressy leads curriculum development and teaches the program’s primary and required courses. He holds a BFA in industrial design from RISD
